I’m so excited to be working with this beautiful couple in October!  We set out for our engagement shoot in Old Town Sacramento.  We stumbled upon a few other photographers while working there… funny how that happens!  Can’t wait for October!

What can I say about this lovely lady, Monica, and her beautiful family!  I met Monica a year ago at our local Starbucks.  We would both visit Starbucks in the mornings and end up chatting with our friend Ralph, who raises Canine Companion dogs.   One day, Ralph said to us both, “you two need to meet, you are both photographers.”  We have stayed in touch since then, and I have attended a monthly photography group that Monica has coordinated.  She asked me a few weeks ago if I would photography her renewal of vows (10 years!) along with a few other photographer friends.  She wore the same dress ten years ago – you go girl!!  I was honored, and I’m so happy that I could be a part of capturing this for my photographer friend.  So happy for you dear!!!

I have really enjoyed getting to know this totally sweet couple!  And of course, I loved spending their wedding day capturing memories for them.  They were married on a Friday at Victorian Rose in Biggs, CA.  They had a larger Indian traditional wedding on Saturday, so the girls all had henna on their hands from the weeks festivities.  It was a lovely day!

I loved the location that Amanda and Greg chose for their wedding day – Empire Mine State Park in Grass Valley. I plan to go back and visit with my kids… its so pretty there, with so much history. The bride and groom opted for a “first look” and saw each other prior to the ceremony. They were married in front of the historic cottage on the property and we found the most beautiful spots for photos. Reception photos are not up yet, but we got some wonderful shots! Thank you to my friend Donna for second shooting with me! Congratulations you two!
