Katie and Michael were married at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in San Jose.  This church is amazing and beautiful!  The day started off at Katie’s parents home, the home that she grew up in (I love that!).  After the girls got ready, we headed straight to the church for a beautiful ceremony that was performed by Katie’s great uncle who traveled to be a part of their special day.  After the ceremony, we made  our way to Sunnyvale’s Orchard Pavilion for the reception.  Although the fountains there are beautiful, I found a little treasure of a spot, directly behind the community center – the gorgeous restored Bianchi Barn.  There was a beautiful orchard attached to the property, and it was the perfect spot for a few photos.  It was a great event – and I enjoyed working with these two!

I second shot this gorgeous Napa Valley wedding with my photographer friend Katie Baldi – I love working with her!  We had a great time together, shooting in Napa for Dave and Linda.  There were a few things that i really loved about this wedding… the orange!  I just love this color for a wedding!  And I also loved the dinner entertainment.  It was a suprise for their guests…   The Three Waiters.  They really did a great performance, and I think that the guests were very amused.  I love what I do, and its so great to work with so many talented fellow photographers that I consider friends.  Thanks for having me Katie!

Just a few images from Ashley and Robby’s beautiful wedding at Wine & Roses. The bride was gorgeous! I felt so bad, as Robby ended up being VERY sick with the flu on his wedding day. We didn’t end up doing any formals of the two of them because he was not doing well at all.  He rallied later in the evening for their first dance, toasts and cake cutting. It was a lovely day, despite the flu!

Yvette and Patrick were married in their lovely Folsom backyard. I have to say that I really LOVE backyard weddings! So charming and intimate. Everyone had a front row seat during the ceremony. And you could just feel the love in the air. We escaped just after the ceremony to a neighborhood walking area just across the street for their portraits. It was the perfect evening golden light…. I love it when that happens! The kids were so much fun.. especially during dancing. So cute! Lovely evening, for a lovely couple. Congratulations you two!

Thanks to Nicole Cook for second shooting with me.  And the gorgeous flowers are creations of Kristie Lanphier, from Posh Posey.
