I am excited to share Aaron and Lenora’s beautiful wedding at the beginning of June!  They were married at the amazing, Empire Mine State Park in Grass Valley.  If you have not visited this gorgeous historic location, you must!   I had already shot a wedding and an engagement session here, and took my family here for a Mother’s Day tour and visit.  The grounds are amazing and perfect for a wedding!  It was a perfect day, and it was a pleasure spending time with these two and their wonderful families.  Thank you for having us!

These two are in India right now, on the first part of their honeymoon.  I hope you’re having a great time!  I am excited to share a few sneak peek images from their wedding on the UC Berkeley campus. It was a beautiful day, complete with gorgeous white fabric and lanterns over the ceremony site.  The couple and the bridal party had a totally fun choreographed first dance… so fun!  I can’t wait to share more!

I seriously cannot wait to share more images from this gorgeous wedding.  I loved all of Nancy’s details, many of which were DIY!   You cannot go wrong for photo locations at Oak Farm Vineyards… there were great spots all around the property.   More coming soon, just a tiny sneak peek for now!

Angie & Nick – Engaged

June 18, 2012

I shot sweet little Finley’s newborn photos a year ago… she turns one this week! I’m so excited to be working with her family again, this time for her parent’s wedding coming up in September! It was great to see everyone again, and see these beautiful girls grow. Congratulations to your family, and I am really looking forward to your big day!

So these two have been clients since early in my photography career.  I photographed their sweet daughter’s newborn portraits, and I’ve done family photos for them as well.  It  has been so nice to get to know them during this time, and when Lourdes contacted me about taking pictures during their local elopement, I was thrilled to be able to work with them again.  It’s so great being a part of my client’s happiest times in life.  I love it!  Congratulations you two, and have a great time on your little escape!

We wandered around downtown, and started at the gorgeous lobby of the Citizen Hotel.  Just a quick sneak peek for now, more images coming soon!

Wedding season is now officially in full swing, and I kicked it off shooting Lenora and Aaron’s wedding which took place at the Empire Mine State Park.  I have shot a few weddings here already and I have to say that it is one of my favorite outdoor locations in the area.  Around every corner there are gorgeous spots to shoot!  The climbing roses are beautiful at this time of year.  Lenora and Aaron are THE sweetest couple, and I have had a great time getting to know them a little better.  So happy for them on their big day!  To start, I am sharing some of their formal portraits, and the rest of the blog post will come soon.

I had a great time with this sweet couple.  Mehgan wanted a vintage styled engagement session, and she said that she had a couch that they wanted to use.  I had a cute little shelf, flowers, books and the beautiful fabric garland backdrop that I made.  Eric hauled the couch out to the perfect golden meadow, and we had such a fun shoot. Mehgan, he’s a keeper to do that for you!  :)   I cannot wait until their July Empire Mine wedding coming up very soon!
