So excited to finally be able to share these images which have been under wraps for a few weeks. We have been published at On The Go Bride! Krisstin from OTGB asked me to work with her on this project which we initially started discussing about 6 months ago. The original concept was beer-related and masculine, so we combined brown glass, faded denim, and galvanized hardware with gorgeous florals and greenery to create something that the ladies AND the gents will love!

It’s so fun to see an idea come to fruition! Of course it would not have come together if it had not been for some amazingly talented wedding industry vendors.

The shoot took place in midtown Sacramento at the incredibly stylish, LowBrau. LowBrau is a gourmet sausage kitchen and beer hall located in the heart of Midtown on the corner of 20th & K St. If you have not eaten (or drank) here, you must! They offer an amazing selection of craft beers, and the greatest comfort food around. Check them out!

The planner and designer of our shoot was Artsy Heartsy Events.

Thanks to our beautiful couple, Michelle and her sweet husband for being our models.

Loved working with such talented people!

Kevin and Lien decided to swap out their engagement session for a “Day After” session.  Their wedding is not until November, but they wanted a relaxed, no pressure afternoon of photos in their wedding day attire.  I love this idea, and I love it when couples are open to it.  We visited the state Capital, as well as the American River for some wide open nature shots.  Love it!  Can’t wait for their big day in November!

Featured on Ruche Blog

December 13, 2012

Ahhh, I’m so excited to see that Shaelee and Andrew’s wedding was featured on the Ruche blog this week.  If you don’t know about Ruche, you should check them out!  Gorgeous clothing for women, and they have a bridal line.  Shaelee wore the Mia Elizabeth design, with her own touch, a gorgeous blue petticoat underneath!  Love that they were featured as a “Real Wedding” on the site.  You can see their full San Francisco City Hall wedding blog post here!

Bridal Session – Miranda

October 22, 2012

I’m almost done editing Miranda and Jared’s Empire Mine State Park wedding… and before I put it on the blog, I had to share her gorgeous bridal session images.  We shot at a gorgeous location in Auburn, and I am so excited about these!  Gorgeous bride.
